I'm going to be published!
Nov. 24th, 2020 11:26 amDon't get all excited you fanfic writers, I am getting a scientific paper published. Finally. Finally.
Goodness this has been a long process. Though it is very technical it still feels like a half step, like the work I did will be a launching pad for someone else's work. It definitely threw up more questions than it answered. However, working on this paper has reinforced my original feelings that I love science and lab work and hate all the papers and the writing in formal abstract scientific frameworks and I am so glad I left the dark vortex that is science academia.

Looking forward to reading your paper! (or possibly, the abstract, depending on how far out of my understanding it is)

on 2021-06-25 02:45 pm (UTC)Ooh, exciting! I am .. not very squeamish, unless maggots are involved. And I am very interested. Particularly because I know some very cool stuff gets done with chicken embryos, and I'm curious to know which area of research it is in!. fandom facing email is fred.mouse.oz@gmail.com.
