Snowflake Scavenger Hunt

Challenge #14: In your own space, post your pictures of your fandom scavenger hunt results.


Looking around my current space, and because it is like 5am and I can't sleep that space is my bed, in the dark...

1. a fannish item

This is above my bed. Has been since 2012!

2. something round

Lying here in the dark I can't really remember round things I have nearby. I'm sure some will reveal themselves when the sun comes up, but for now you get an approximation of my clock.

3. something that is your favorite colour

I have several favourite colours, but this is the current colour of my pillowcases. So happy for the morning!

4. the last game you played (video, phone, table top, etc.)

I played some Rummy, but weirdly, because I found and used a deck of cards that had actual 13 as numbered cards.

5. a book you are currently reading

I was going to link to goodreads but there are no written reviews or blurb! 2-3 stars is accurate.

6. album art of the first song that comes up on shuffle

Ugh, I'm on my phone and I don't use music streaming on it. You get a shuffle choice from my ringtone list. It's 'Carol of the Bells' (click the pic to hear it on YouTube)

7. the last movie you watched

So funny! I love Dany Boon

8. TV show you're currently watching

Also funny, but I mainly watched it for the snow because I'm in a heatwave and visualisation does help.

Yes. I have a Sony phone, and this is a factory standard lockscreen image

Burton's Sleepy Hollow isn't a perfect movie, but it is absolutely stunning looking and Johnny Depp was beautiful in that movie. I know a lot of people prefer his look in other things, but I thought he looked exquisite in Sleepy Hollow and his performance was fabulous (and very underrated).

The set design, costumes and soundtrack is why I keep coming back but I do love a 'scary' movie that brings in some humour. And there certainly is humour in Sleepy Hollow!

Oh, the movie is so much fun! And very funny. But it's always the look of it that grabs me. I forget to note it in my original comment, but Christina Ricci looks gorgeous, too. :)

Christina Ricci's look and dress in the final scenes (the black and white stripe long walking dress) has always been something I want! It is still a big
life goal I want to do, and ultimately it is more achievable than buying a house. Yay for achievable goals!

Ah, my car is that color and it always makes me happy :D I love playing Rummy too. I grew up playing with my grandparents and so it brings happy nostalgia feelings whenever I get a chance to play.

The Subaru XV came out with that colour (and the wheel rims that look like flowers <3 ) and I knew I wanted one! Sadly my car is black. A black that is impossible to keep clean!
My grandma was the one to teach me Rummy, so I know exactly how you feel! ~she also taught me how to cheat at Rummy!
